The Hamilton International School, part of International Schools Partnership (ISP) a global network of schools including Park House English School, is bringing a unique opportunity to students in Doha this summer. The school has launched a virtual summer camp for students between the ages of 5 and 12 to be held from 5th of July to 28th of August, with parents able to sign-up weekly. The Virtual Camp will hold a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, yoga, fitness, singing, dancing, engineering, English and Maths, mini-chef lessons, STEM and even some slime making classes.
Being led by qualified teachers and teaching assistants from the school, the Virtual Learning Summer Camp will give any child in Doha the opportunity to access some of the best learning and teaching that students at The Hamilton International School experience regularly. “Our teachers have successfully delivered high quality Distance Learning over the last few months, and through leading these activities in the summer, we are able to extend our expertise to even more families,” said Terry Senior, Principal of The Hamilton International School.
“Given the current climate and circumstances, we felt it was important to provide a safe, yet engaging environment, where students could continue to access activities throughout the summer. We are best placed to offer this. With travel plans uncertain, we know that these options will not only provide some additional unstructured learning, but will also go a long way to help with the wellbeing of our families and also the wellbeing of those families in the larger community,” he continued. With prices of the camp starting from QAR300 per week, parents will be given the option to purchase a tool kit for their children. The tool kit will provide all the necessary materials needed for the week of activities.
