Muna grew up in London. She holds a BA in Primary Education from Kingston
University and has worked in education for over 12 years.
Muna is an experienced teacher and has previously taught across different year
groups and educational settings. Over her teaching career, she found a passion
for supporting children with significant needs and pursued a career in Special
Needs. Muna has been fortunate to teach a diverse group of children, including
those with ADHD, ASD and dyslexia.
Muna’s passion for teaching stems from the personal satisfaction she obtains
when students begin to believe in their capabilities and understand that they too
can achieve when they are faced with difficult tasks. She believes that every child
should have the opportunity to reach their full potential. In the classroom, Muna
adopts a child–centred approach where the learning starts from the children’s
needs and interests. She strives to find innovative and creative ways to deliver
curriculum so that children can become lifelong learners.
Muna has a passion for travelling. She enjoys embracing and learning about
different cultures in different parts of the world. She also enjoys baking, reading
and spending time with family and friends.
