The Hamilton International School has a transparent admissions policy to ensure all applicants are treated fairly. All children are required to complete our assessment procedure prior to being offered a place at The Hamilton International School.
The school will open in September 2019 from Pre-KG to Grade 5. A grade level will be added every year to become a through school to Grade 12.
For more information please contact our Head of Admissions, Samir Ahmed with any questions on +974 5043 8885 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also visit us at our Admissions Enquiry Centre located at The Raddison Blu Hotel, Third Floor, C Ring Road, Doha, Qatar.
Children from all nationalities are welcome to apply. The Hamilton International School gives priority to siblings of current students, however this does not guarantee admission. All children applying for a place, including those with priority, will be required to pass an entrance assessment or an entrance test. Applicants who pass the test will be offered a place or will remain on our waiting list. When a place becomes available in the school, all candidates on the list will be considered. If a period of six months of passing the initial assessment has passed, a child may be required to sit a second assessment.
If a child fails an entrance assessment the school will reassess at the school’s discretion.
Applications can only be submitted online and must be completed in full.
Applications are considered for the Academic Year in which they apply.
If your application is for more than one child, each child will need to pass the assessment or interview for their application to be successful. Not all family members will be guaranteed places.
In November of each year, we invite current parents to apply for siblings for the following academic year. Parents/Guardians must ensure they have provided all the relevant information in their application, including details of behavioral, social or academic support needs. If information is withheld and Hamilton International School is unable to meet your child’s educational and/or social/behavioral needs, we reserve the right to withdraw the application/school place.
Children will only be admitted to the appropriate grade by age as detailed during the initial online enquiry form. If your child is currently studying in a school in Qatar please refer to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) rules for transferring children.
