Doha, Qatar; June, 2024: As an ISP school, at The Hamilton International School the ISP value of “Learn Continuously” is not something we hope to teach our students, but we encourage our staff to also commit to being Lifelong learners.
We want our colleagues to be driven about getting better all the time, and at ISP, everyone is supported to continue to develop, so that they are able to provide even better learning experiences to our students.
Along with the extensive Continuous Professional Development (CPD) our staff have access to, in 2021 ISP launched The Federico Olivie Fund. The fund was created as a lasting memorial to a friend and colleague of ISP, who sadly passed away in 2015.
The ISP Federico Olivie Fund is a financial contribution put in place to support ISP colleagues who wish to enhance their learning and skills by completing additional training. It is open, annually, to all ISP Middle East colleagues both teaching and non-teaching based in our schools to apply to every year.
This year’s successful applicants we selected based on a number of criteria which included but were not limited to:
- providing details and evidence of how their completion of the course would be able to strengthen the school staff skill set and positively impact the academic, social and emotional, or operational aspects of school performance
- demonstrating a commitment to their school and its students,
- performing well in their current roles and going above and beyond during their time at their school
We would like to congratulate:
