House Launch

It’s with immense pride that The Hamilton International School announces the official launch of our new School Houses: the formidable Falcons, the dynamic Dolphins, the resilient Oryx, and the observant Sandcats. Each house, with its unique ethos, stands as a testament to our school’s vision: Igniting passion, purpose, and potential. It’s heartening to see every student find their place, and in a nod to family unity and community, we have ensured siblings soar, swim, gallop or step side by side in the same houses.

Devon Brittle – Head of Houses had this to say about this historic event for the school.

“31st October 2023 will forever be etched in the history books of The Hamilton International School. On this suspenseful day, we gathered in the theatre, not quite knowing the magnitude of what lay ahead. But as the stage lit up with passion and the grand reveal unfolded, the roof nearly lifted with the overwhelming cheers and uncontainable excitement of our students.

Our mission has always been clear: Developing the spirit of excellence and sound character in our students through an innovative, well-balanced education. With this new house initiative, we are further embedding our seven core values, with “I am getting Better” leading the charge, followed by respect, resilience, global citizenship, communication, collaboration, and emotional intelligence.

Falcons, with their keen vision, urge us to Fly with Focus and Soar with Purpose. Dolphins, with their harmonious ways, beckon us to Dive Deep, Connect, and Conquer. Oryx, with their undying spirit, inspire us to Stand Tall, Thrive, and Transform. Sandcats, with their adaptive nature, remind us to Seek, Adapt, and Embrace.

This new housing initiative is not just a fleeting moment but will stand the test of time, becoming an integral part of our school’s DNA. Etching the names of Falcons, Dolphins, Oryx and Sandcats into the cornerstones of our school’s history and legacy.
