Angela is a passionate Music Educator who spent the last eleven years teaching in prestigious schools in Portugal and recently Doha. Her music students have won national and international prizes in competitions such as the Qatar Music Competition and Strings Category (Violin).
Her students have always achieved great marks in ABRSM and GCSE Exams.
She holds a Masters Degree in Music Education, Violin Performance and Teaching Training from Aveiro University. She has conducted workshops about Suzuki’s Methodology, Rolland’s Strings Methodology and, most recently, El Sistema Methodology.
Angela started her music education at the age of 4, and at 11 years old, was accepted into the best Music School in Portugal – ARTAVE. She was the concert master at Aveiro University Orchestra and was invited to play with professional orchestras like Beiras Philarmonic Orchestra, Guimarães Orchestra and more. She has also performed in the best concert houses in Portugal, Europe and Asia as an orchestra and chamber music member.
She brings her passion for music to The Hamilton International School, ensuring every child experiences music in an empowering way.
Angela loves spending her free time exploring the world with her husband, researching, and caring about the world environment. She is also a foodie.
