Imane strives to empower learners wherever they are in their path, illustrating the impact of providing strength-based positive learning experiences for every student. Imane has a special passion for supporting people with complex and special education needs; she worked as a teacher before completing an additional qualification in speech-language and hearing disorders. Imane has worked closely with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and behavioural analysts to address the wide range of needs that her learners present. Her experience in caregiver-mediated intervention and parent coaching gives her special insight into supporting parents alongside their children. She also has experience supporting learners of various ages academically while paying acute attention to the role of executive functioning – building skills like flexibility, planning and self-regulation.
Imane is a lover of the outdoors and all things sustainability, recently completing a certification in Permaculture Design. In her lifelong commitment to learning, Imane’s next objective is horseback riding!
