Every school has a beginning, and The Hamilton International School is no exception. As this story unfolds, we are poised with expectation as the momentum around Doha’s newest international premier school takes shape.
As I walk the long and bright corridors of the school, I look forward to August 2019 when the school is ‘alive’ and open to the community with children ready to embark on their education; a learning journey that will grow their desire to make a positive impact on this ever-changing world for the better.
The Hamilton International School has state of the art facilities which reflect the excellence and success inherent in the culture of the school. I see the science laboratories teaming with thought as problems are created and solved. As I turn the corner, I can hear the joy of musical creativity which is the frontier of inspiration and the visual arts encapsulate the dreams of the next generation. The Hamilton theater, which seats over 850 people and presides center stage on the school campus, will be where the performing arts are celebrated. In years to come, our students and the school community will speak of the numerous quality productions and performances, which will have helped shape the fabric of the school and give us fond memories of the graduation ceremonies that punctuate their successful schooling at Hamilton.
I walk through the indoor sports facilities that have Olympic sized pools, tennis courts, a basketball court, all with tiered seating and wonder how many internationally recognised sports people will hone their skills at these premier facilities? The FIFA-approved football pitch will set the stage for countless enthusiasts immersed in their love of the sport and provide the platform for future stars.
Our teachers will be native English or Arabic speakers, all of whom will be qualified, experienced and passionate about the art of teaching. They are the catalysts for what I call ‘transformational learning’, where students are highly engaged and encounter rich learning. Our students will make progress that will amaze not only themselves but their parents and teachers alike. Amazing learning occurs in classrooms that will be filled with a positive atmosphere and high expectations, creating a contagious enthusiasm for learning.

It is incredible being part of something great, and it is a privilege to be here at the beginning of our incredible story. I am available to meet with you personally and share more about The Hamilton International School at our Admissions Enquiry Center, situated in Radisson Blu, Doha. My team and I will be there daily from the 22nd of January to meet and greet you. Our Admissions Enquiry Center will be open from 8am to 5pm daily on weekdays.
